What is plain strut channel?

A plain strut channel has no slots or holes on the back. It is also called solid strut channel or solid back strut channel.
Plain channel is often used when the project requires a cleaner surface, fewer openings, higher local stiffness, or a stronger web area. It is suitable for equipment frames, machine supports, industrial framing, posts, uprights and heavy-duty structures.
