What is double strut channel used for?

Double strut channel is used when a single channel is not strong enough or when both sides of the frame need open slots for mounting accessories.
It is commonly used for two-sided pipe clamps, solar panel support structures, equipment frames, utility racks, large trapeze supports, heavy cable tray supports and structural framing.
